The parties to the collective agreement have agreed to the establishment of a federal expert committee to tackle the topics of "Working hours, retirement and taking on trainees". This committee is to submit a specific recommendation to the above-mentioned parties by 31/10/2009 at the latest.

10.03.2009 - Workers earn wages, staff earn a salary — the pay-scale tradition for over 100 years. The parties to the collective agreement now wish to remove this two-class system on the basis of a set of guidelines published in autumn 2006.
