Employers' Federation / Social Policy
Within the Industry Association as a whole, the Employers' Federation (EF) is the organ responsible for issues relating to pay-scale, social and educational policies. Its members are authorised representatives of the state organisations dealing with matters of pay-scale policy.
It coordinates the pay-scale policies of state and employer organisations from the textile and fashion industries involved in pay-scale negotiations. It is authorised to conclude collective agreements with IG Metall on their behalf.
The EF also represents the interests of its member associations at a national and international level, as reflected in its work within the Federal Union of German Employers' Organisations (Bundesvereinigung der Deutschen Arbeitgeberverbände - BDA) and the European Apparel and Textile Organisation (EURATEX).
