Economic Policy - Departments
The textile+fashion confederation represents the interests of the textile and fashion industry within a number of economic policy areas. These subject areas are handled by seven autonomous units, which work on key subject-related issues at a national and international level.
Priority is given to promoting the innovative and high-performing textile and fashion industry both domestically and abroad. At the same time, the textile+fashion confederation is involved in political work aimed at securing long-term improvements to conditions for German business.
Close collaboration with state and trade associations, BDI and EURATEX is a key component of these economic policy activities. This ensures that the consolidated interests of the textile and fashion industry can be represented vis-à-vis the Federal Government and its offices, and vis-à-vis the European Commission.
