"We don't lose the thread" — the confederation's motto is especially applicable to its communication work, which raises public awareness about topics worked on by the Association's individual units. A wide variety of communication strategies are used to inform internal and external stakeholders from politics, business, media and associations about the Industry Association and its work, and about the textile and fashion industry, its current interests and issues. These not only include press releases and contact with editorial staff, but also web and offline publication, plus events for a variety of target audiences – one example being the presentation of the textil+mode Innovation Prize.
